Reason For Daniel Bryan/Kane WWE RAW Segment

Posted By: Kenny Williams on Apr 21, 2014

Reason For Daniel Bryan/Kane WWE RAW Segment

As seen on Monday night's edition of WWE RAW, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Kane worked a segment which saw Kane beat down Bryan and give him three Tombstone Piledrivers, which resulted in Bryan, in storyline, being sent to the hospital. This all occurred after it was announced that Kane would face Bryan for the title at the upcoming Extreme Rules event.

In reality, the segment was set up to portray Kane as a monster that is unable to be controlled. Furthermore, and as expected, the segment was set up in order to write Bryan off of television for the time being, as he is reported to have left the arena immediately after getting to the backstage area in order to travel to his hometown of Seattle, Washington to be with his family following the death of his father earlier in the day. Also as seen on RAW, Bryan did not do any work on the microphone and was visibly upset because of the situation with his father's death.

Reports are that Bryan already had bags packed and ready to go and, after being consoled by various WWE Superstars and Divas, got into a waiting car and left RAW.

Word from multiple sources is that Bryan will not take part in this week's SmackDown television taping.

WrestlingNewsSource.com will continue to keep all of you updated on this situation as more information is made available.
