WWE intro: Then, Now, Forever

Video Re-Cap of the Stephanie McMahon-Brie Bella segment from last Monday night.followed by Triple H's announcement of Brock Lesnar as John Cena's Summerslam opponent

Welcome to Monday Night Raw and we kick things off with WWE Champion John Cena making his way out to the ring. Cena calls the Houston crowd a lively bunch and says normally he'd share their enthusiasm but last week Plan C was revealed that he hoped would never happen that being Brock Lesnar and calls himself a marked man. The Authority wants the championship off him so bad they hired a mercenary and last week it was announced and there were cheers as Paul Heyman spoke eloquently. He says maybe those cheers are because the WWE Universe wants to see Lesnar beat the hell out of him. He says he's certainly not deaf, hearing the crowd cheer, and he knows who his opponent is and says Brock Lesnar destroys who he wants when he wants with the precision of a surgeon. He says there have been 40 champions and one beast who has conquered The Streak. He says for once Heyman is telling the truth and there is a Beast in his windshield and he knows he'll get his a-- kicked but he will not lay down. He will fight and go into Summerslam and beat Brock Lesnar just like he did in 2012. Cena says the WWE Universe doesn't realize what will happen to the championship if Brock Lesnar wins and says no one can control Brock Lesnar. Paul Heyman then comes out and says at Summerslam Brock Lesnar will conquer John Cena and take away the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He calls Cena courageous for realizing the beating coming his way but doesn't understand that Cena's words are mighty for a man who is about to be turned into a victim. He asks Cena if he knows what it's like to be victimized. He's taken beatings before and come back to exact revenge but Cena has never been victimized and says to just ask The Undertaker but he can't because no one has seen or heard from The Undertaker since Wrestlemania. Heyman says Cena is on the defensive defending his title but his client is on the offensive. Lesnar is not going to just F-5 and pin John Cena but he is going to victimize John Cena recklessly and mercilessly. Heyman says Cena is passionate and loves being in the ring and being in WWE but Lesnar loves to victimize his opponents and when Cena wakes up from his beating he will realize he's been Beaten, Conquered and Victimized. Cena says good or bad he shows up on time to work because he loves the WWE and callls Lesnar a gorilla who has no passion for anything but himself and Lesnar is going to have to beat every last breath out of his body because he's going into Summerslam and walking out with the championship. Cesaro comes out and says he will not allow Cena to insult Heyman and calls him a big, muscled up, walking billboard. Cena drops the belt and slides out of the ring but Cesaro tells him to stay where he is. Cesaro tells Cena he can't wrestle and challenges him to a match right now. Cena accepts and Cesaro makes his way down to the ring as we go to break

1. John Cena vs Cesaro

Test of strength between Cesaro and Cena. Cena down to one knee but Cena gets to his feet and takedown by Cena. Side headlock on Cesaro. Cena with a monkeyflip and another side headlock on Cesaro. Cesaro gets to his feet and powers Cena into the ropes. Side headlock takedown by Cesaro. Gutwrench by Cesaro off the irish whip and a hard right puts Cena down. Series of headbutts by Cesaro. Cesaro picks  Cena up but Cena counters with a hurricanrana. Irish whip by Cena and Cena runs into an elbow. Cesaro back in control, Cesaro on the apron lands the double stomp on Cena. Cesaro back in the ring, picks Cena up and they trade punches and Cesaro with a shoulderblock sends Cena crashing from the apron to the floor. Cena slides back in and takes Cesaro down. Cena unloads on Cesaro and goes for the bulldog but Cesaro counters

-Commercial 8:27pm-

Shoulder tackles by Cena. Cena with front slam countered by Cesaro who plants Cena on the mat. Cesaro mocks Cena's "you can't see me" Cesaro going for the Cesaro swing but Cena rolls through and hits a powerbomb on Cesaro. Cena to the top rope cut off by Cesaro who lands a boot to the side of the face. Cesaro on the top rope as he has Cena on the apron. Cesaro hooks Cena up and delivers a suplex. Cesaro runs into a boot and Cesaro executes the Cesaro Swing. Cesaro hooks Cena's legs up in a submission but it's countered by Cena. Cena goes for the STF but Cesaro kicks him away. Slam by Cena followed by the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the AA but Cesaro holds onto the ropes. Cena climbs the ropes but Cesaro counteres with headbutts sending Cena crashing to the mat. Cesaro dives off the top rope and Cena rolls through picking Cesaro on his shoulder. AA avoided by Cesaro. Uppercut to Cena. Cesaro picks Cena up and goes for The Neutralizer. Cena counters and an exchange of boots to the faces. Cesaro goes to the top rope and Cena picks Cesaro up on his shoulders and delivers the AA for the three count

The Authority's Office: Stephanie is with Triple H and says she can't go back to jail again and can't bear to look into their daughter's eyes at the disappointment in their mother. Triple H tells her everything will work and Orton walks in and says last week's plan on Raw was not the original plan. Orton was attacked by Roman Reigns and Lesnar gets the title shot? Triple H says can he change the match at Summerslam? yes but will he? No. Triple H says as long as Roman Reigns is in the picture there are no more title shots and tells Orton to take Reigns out. Orton says he's going to do that tonight and Triple H says Reigns is in a match against Kane tonight. Orton says he has problems with Kane, Roman Reigns and now he has a problem with Triple H and walks out as Triple H and Stephanie look on

Paige comes out to the ring as we look back at Paige's heel turn from last Monday's Raw. Back live, Paige says she wants to set the record straight and sometimes lets her emotions get the best of her and still considers AJ her friend and last week what she did was deplorable and didn't think of her as a friend but someone who took her title and promises never to act that way again. AJ comes out to the ring. AJ calls her a Casper looking crumpet and asks if she thinks anyone here is buying what she's saying and gets why Paige was mad. She knows what it's like to have the diva's title taken away and tells her if she wants to be like her then Paige should be like her but AJ doesn't play little girl games and if she wants to talk crap she'll do it to the person's face. Paige tells her she IS her friend and if AJ doesn't believe her then she's crazy. Paige says she didn't mean to call her that but would never make fun of AJ's mental health. AJ says she understands it was a mistake and it happens and AJ attacks her and a brawl ensues.

The Authority comes out and Triple H says there have been times he's been proud of the WWE Universe and times he's been disappointed but last week he was disgusted. He says they laughed at Stephanie last week when she was handcuffed and arrested and dragged out of the arena like a common criminal and says he will never forgive the WWE Universe for that. Triple H says that hurt her badly and all of it over a simple misunderstanding. She was just defending herself. It was perfectly understandable that Stephanie struck Brie Bella because she deserved it but it was all a simple misunderstanding. Triple H says all the charges have been dropped except one. The assault charges held by Brie Bella against Stephanie and so they are here to reconcile that misunderstanding and she has asked Brie Bella to come to  Raw so they can put this whole ugly incident behind them. Stephanie asks Brie to come out to the ring but Chris Jericho's music plays instead bringing Y2J out. Triple H tells Jericho they're in the middle of something. Jericho says he understands and just wants to let them know how bad he feels about last week and came out to give them his sympathy with a song and begins to sing the COPS Theme. Jericho says this is pretty funny and tells Stephanie that this is 2014 and orange is the new black and its okay to be a jailbird. Triple H says he's not in the mood. Jericho says he has to give Triple H credit for standing by his little flower. He then has a question for Triple H asking why he didn't leave with her when she was arrested and he thinks he knows the answer. It's because Triple H is starting to realize what he's known about Stephanie for 10 years and calls her a trashbag ho. Triple H he should focus more on Bray Wyatt. Jericho says that's why he's out here right now. He wants Bray Wyatt tonight and Triple H says he's going to have to wait until Summerslam. Seth Rollins attacks Jericho with the briefcase as Triple H says tonight Jericho faces Seth Rollins.

2. The Usos & Dolph Ziggler vs RybAxel & The Miz

Ryback faceplants Ziggler. Axel with a boot to Ziggler. Chinlock by Axel. Ziggler gets to his feet but Axel stil in control. Axel misses with a clothesline. Right hand to Axel by Jey. Jey with a backsplash in the corner. Axel sent out of the ring. Ryback taken out by Jimmy. Ziggler holds off Miz who keeps his distance to avoid damage to his Moneymaker

Miz in contrrol of the match as Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston look on from ringside. Kneelift by Miz to Jimmy. Kneelift by Axel. Miz with a chinlock. Jimmy gets to his feet with elbows to Miz looking for the DDT- backbreaker combination but Jimmy nails Miz with a superkick. Clothesline to Ryback by Ziggler. Ziggler with a baseball slide to Axel. Neckbreaker and elbow to the chest by Ziggler. Ziggler goes for the Famouser but Ryback counters. ShellShocked countered by Ziggler. Ziggler plants Ryback with a DDT. Jimmy clotheslines Miz over the ropes. Jey takes out Axel. Ryback goes for a powerbomb but Ziggler counters and hits the ZigZag for the three count

3. Bo Dallas vs R-Truth

Dallas with a shoulderblock to Truth. Dallas jumps out of the ring and takes a victory lap around the ring. Dallas back in the ring and as he continues celebrating Truth rolls him up from behind for the three count

The winner of the match: R- Truth

Post Match: Dallas takes the mic and says he can't Bo-lieve Truth was the first to beat him but it's okay. Dallas then attacks Truth with clotheslines in the corner and finishes him off by planting Truth with a DDT

Lana and Rusev are in the ring and Lana cuts a promo on America. Zeb and Jack Swagger come out and cut their own promo and Swagger then runs down and brawls with Rusev. In the ring Rusev goes for The Accolades but Swagger counters with The Patriot Lock. Rusev rolls out of the ring and takes the Russian flag as he and Lana retreat up the ramp while Colter and Swagger stand in the ring waving the American flag

4. Adam Rose & Damien Sandow

Rose tells Sandow to be a rosebud and Sandow says no one can hear u in space let's see if that's true on earth. Sandow blasts Rose with a right hand. Rose hits the PartyFoul for the three count

5. Kane vs Roman Reigns

Kane makes his way out first. Roman Reigns is out next but Randy Orton attacks from behind and a brawl ensues. Reigns takes out Orton then Kane. Back in the ring Samoan Drop to Kane. Orton back in and Reigns hits the Superman Punch. Kane delivers a chokeslam to Reigns. Kane looks down at Orton as exits the ring.

The winner of the match: None

Post Match: Orton unloads with punches and kicks on Reigns. Orton continues the assault throwing Reigns into the barricade and into the ring steps. Orton then clears the announce table and delivers two RKO's to Reigns through the announce table

Back from break and we take another look at the vicious attack by Randy Ortonthat took place just moments ago on Roman Reigns

6. Diego vs Fandango

Fandango unloads on Diego. Back bodydrop to Diego. Diego off the distration mounts an offense but Fandango catches him with a dropkick. Fandango hooks Diego up and delivers a suplex. Fandango on the top rope but Torito is on the opposite corner. Diego from behind off the distration rolls Fandango up for the three count

The winner of the match: Diego

Post Match: Fandango gets on the apron and demands to know, from Layla and Summer Rae, why. El Torito gores Fandango off the apron sending him crashing to the floor

Backstage: Stephanie knocks on the divas' locker room door. Nikki comes out and says Brie will be here and she'll express herself. Nikki says not many times when people like Stephanie eat a plate of crap but she hopes Stephanie likes the taste of it

7. Naomi & Natalya vs  Cameron & Alicia  Fox

Side headlock by Alicia countered by Natalya. Snapmare by Natalya and dropkick to Fox. Atomic drop by Naomi. Fox with an irish whip and Naomi counters with a kick. Naomi unloads on Cameron but Fox grabs her and tosses her back into the ring. Scissors kick to the back of the neck by Fox. Cameron picks Naomi up and delivers a snapmare. Slam into the corner by Cameron. Cameron unloads on Naomi and holds her down for a pin but Naomi counters with a submission for the tap out

Chris Jericho vs. Seth Rollins

You could see a no contest coming with neither man positioned to lose. The Wyatts interrupted when Jericho hit a codebreaker on Rollins. Bray dropped Jericho with Sister Anigail to stand tall over him.

Stephanie comes out and says she stands before the WWE Universe a humble person and being arrested is a life altering experience and she is one of the principle owners of WWE and she represents shareholders. She goes through the emotional trauma and how her daughters are being teased at camp and they've been scarred for life due to this experience. Brie Bella then comes out. Brie tells Stephanie to get to the point. Stephanie asks her to drop all the charges because she doesn't deserve it. Brie says Stephanie deserves to go to hell. Stephanie understands she's taken advantage of Nikki but moving forward she won't mistreat her and is willing to give Nikki a raise. Brie agrees to that only if Stephanie meets her demands and asks for her job back. Stephanie says she thinks one Bella is enough. Brie tells Stephanie she'll see her in court and goes to walk away. Stephanie then asks if Brie drops the charges she'll give Brie her job back. They agree but Brie isn't done yet. There is one more thing she wants. She wants a match at Summerslam. Stephanie asks what kind of match Brie wants and she'll make it happen. Brie says she wants a match against Stephanie. Stephanie says Brie doesn't think she understands what she's asking. Stephanie hasn't competed in the ring in 10 years. She'll give Brie her job and Nikki a raise and a match at Summerslam just not against her. Brie goes to leave the ring and Stephanie says this is so unfair. She says she can't wrestle and compete. Stephanie feigns crying as she agrees to the match and slaps Brie sending her off the apron crashing to the floor. Brie runs back in and a brawl breaks out as officials run down to break it up.
