As we previously reported, Chris Jericho is scheduled for a WWE Live Event the night before January's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The latest is Jericho and WWE are negotiating a new deal, in fact they are confident something will come of it because they have Jericho booked for Live Events during January and February.
WWE is looking to use Jericho in the opposite manner to how they use Brock Lesnar, so he will be appearing on House Shows but not televisions or PPV. Jericho has expressed the desire not to return to TV unless it's a big deal, But Vince McMahon wanted him on Smackdown last week so he agreed to feature in the Highlight Reel and wrestle a dark match in Liverpool.
Jericho reportedly has no conflicts with WrestleMania season, so we could see him make a surprise return as he traditionally likes to do.
His next tour with his band fozzy will be from 3/4 to 3/21.
